Pint: Local Strawberry

Why is our strawberry ice cream so dang good? It's because we use vine-ripened berries grown on local farms just a short car ride away from us. They grow varietals for flavour rather than size and don't pick them until the berries are at their peak. Our friends at Avonmore Berry Farm, Barkley's Orchard, and Rochon Gardens are the stars of the show. We simply add a bit of buttermilk and greek yogurt to bump up the richness and bring out the brightness in this fresh strawberry ice cream.
